The site has been growing over recent months, with valuable reviews from some great bloggers and by co-editor Mark and myself. We’ve also been grateful for the support of a number of publishers. Quadrille (UK) have been exceptionally generous, and we’re also thankful to Hippocrene Books (US), John Wiley (US), Wakefield Press (AU) and Hachette (AU and US). Hardie Grant (AU) and Grub Street (UK) also deserve a mention. It’s great to see publishers recognising the value of The Gastronomer’s Bookshelf in bringing quality reviews to a wide online audience!

We’re working on improving the design of the site in a few key areas, so you’ll see small changes here and there over the next few weeks. If ever you have a problem, just leave a comment on the Technical/FAQs page or send us a message directly.

Thanks again to our recent reviewers Lucy, Sarah and Gfron1.

In coming weeks we’ll be bringing you reviews of An Edge in the Kitchen by Chad Ward, Macaron by Pierre Hermé, Cooking for Beginners by John Burton Race and Angela Hartnett, and more! Happy reading!
